Annette Ezekiel Kogan — Vocals and Accordion

Founder and visionary leader of Golem, Annette is an eccentric linguist, fluent in five languages, who avidly researches Eastern European music, dance and literature. After playing classical piano, Annette picked up the accordion in order to learn Ukrainian and Russian tunes, and then fell in love with Yiddish song. Through research and travel, she brings material to the band and adds the twist of rock and roll that is Golem.
